MacWay announces FireWire product line

MacWay today announced "full OS X 10.1-compliance" for its entire Oxford 911-based product line, including its 3.5"/2.5" enclosures and CD burners.
The French-based company will equip all of its ts FireWire products with the Oxford 911 chipset. The company is providing a free upgrade path for its customers. Its product line includes FireWire-based 7200 rpm 3.5", 5400 rpm and
4200 rpm 2.5" hard drives as well as "the first" Oxford 911-based, bootable 16x/10x/40x and 24x/10x/40x CDR burners. The new 2.5" "Titanium" FireWire hard drives are available in 20GB (IBM, 4200 rpm), 32GB (IBM, 5411rpm), 48GB (IBM, 5400rpm) capacity. Prices range from $218 to $552.
Its new "Snow" Oxford 911-based, and bootable CDRW burners are available
in 16x/10x/40x BurnProof ($192) and 24x/10x/40x Burnproof ($261) models. Each ship with an OEM version of Toast 5.02.
