Afternoon tech news: AOL Time Warner beat lowered analyst estimates in its third quarter fiscal report, generating revenue of $9.3 billion; Microsoft and Samsung have partnered to develop and market consumer PCs and other devices; The Business Software Alliance has shut down an Austrian site that purportedly provided means of pirating software.
