Stallion Gigabit Ethernet adapters software

updated 11:50 pm EDT, Tue April 25, 2000

Team ASA today announced enhanced software support for its line of Power Mac Stallion Gigabit Ethernet adapters. Its new universal installer now supports both copper- and fiber- based Network Interface Cards (NIC) for Mac OS 8, OS 9, and OS X Server. Team ASA says that the new drivers achieve "files transfer rates in excess of 20 MB/sec" and is now also offering 24-hour turn-around on technical support questions. The NICs are $900 and $1000 for copper- and fiber-based interfaces respectively and ship with a 3-yr warranty.
