Apple, Amazon and a host of other technology firms scored a win
in a suit brought by patent licensing firm Golden Bridge Technology
. The firm sued the two tech giants and a long list of other tech firms (including Lenovo, Dell, Motorola Mobility, Sony Ericsson, Pantech, LG, HTC and HP) over two patents for 3G network communications. In the court's summary judgement
, US District Judge Sue Robinson found that "the record evidence remains consistent with the finding of non-infringement," and cancelled a jury trial set to begin on April 29.
