Snapseed 1.6 (free) - Snapseed is a photo editing app that includes a number of basic adjustment tools and image filters. Version 1.6 adds a new HDR Scape filter that simulates the effect of a high dynamic range image. A new Shadows slider has also been added to the Tune Image filter for brightening dark areas, and various bugs have been fixed. [Download - 27.9MB]

Quora 3.1 (free) - Quora allows users to ask a question to a community that is looking to provide answers. The v3.1 update gives users the ability to add photos to answers posts, and comments by tapping on the image icon in the editor. Users can also now clear all new notifications using the ‘Clear X New’ button, as well as edit and set primary topics on questions. [Download - 2.5MB]

Camera+ 4.2.1 ($2) - Camera+ builds on the default camera app by adding extra shooting features, editing options, and photo filters. Within the app users can set the exposure separately from the focus, as well as use a horizon level to eliminate crooked shots. This release fixes some problems users were experiencing on the iPhone 4s, along with a host of other small issues. [Download - 26.5MB]

Screens 3.1.1 ($20) - Screens is a screen sharing and VNC client that can be used to connect remotely to any Mac, Windows or Linux computer. Support is included for controlling a computer with gestures, while a scrollable shortcuts toolbar gives quick access to other functions. Hardware keyboard support has bee fixed with this update. Galaxy on Fire 2 HD 1.1.9 (free) - Galaxy on Fire 2 is a space combat game that includes trading, adventure, and RPG elements. The v1.1.7 update adds additional bloom-shaders and anti-aliasing for improved visuals on the iPhone 5s, iPad Air and new iPad mini with Retina Display. An issue where menu items would display overlapped has also been fixed. [Download - 599MB]
