iTunes U 1.3.1 (free) - iTunes U provides users with access to a variety of free courses from a host of universities and other schools. In v1.3.1 the app will now check for course updates when using the pull to refresh gesture in the notepad. An issue that could prevent courses from updating has also been fixed, along with a problem where the app could crash when opening the Catalog repeatedly. [Download - 31.9MB]

Google Currents 2.1 (free) - Google Currents is an app that delivers magazine-styled publications directly to iOS devices. In order to bring the app more in line with the Android version, Google has added audio playlist support for editions. Version 2.1 also includes vertical pagination for articles and the ability to zoom into photos with a pinch gesture. [Download - 4.6MB]

Morning 1.0.1 ($3) - Morning is an iPad app that has been designed to allow users to organize all of the information they need to start their day off. Within the app users can pick from an array of information modules that includes weather, reminders, commute time, news, calendar, news, and a clock. Due to App Store restrictions developers have been forced to remove the ability to drag and rearrange panels in this release. [Download - 4.9MB]

DM1 4.0.2 ($5) - DM1 is a drum machine that can be used to make electronic beats on the iPad. The app is broken into five main sections, including a step sequencer, drum pads, mixer, FX trackpads, and song composer. The latest release fixes a number of bugs, including a proxy authentication error. [Download - 86.2MB]

WordPress 3.6.2 (free) - WordPress is a tool for managing a WordPress blog or site from an iOS device. The software includes tools for moderating comments, creating or editing posts, viewing stats, and uploading images or videos. Various crashes have been fixed in this update. [Download - 7.1MB]
