Radio Tool X 2.0 ($1) - Chiaro Software has launched version 2 of its Radio Tool X. The app enables users to listen to various radio stations including CNN, ESPN, Virgin Radio and Disney Tunes Radio. The upgrade makes it possible to save over 20 stations and adds more stations to listen to. In addition, the interface has been re-designed and several bug fixes have been added. [Download - 0.3MB]

NIOSH Chemical Hazards 1.0 ($3) - NIOSH Chemical Hazards brings the NIOSH Pocket Guide to Chemical Safety to the iPhone and iPod touch. The app features a full index of chemical names, synonyms and trade names, all of which can be searched by CAS or RTECS numbers. It offers a dynamic search system that updates as the user types, as well as the ability to develop a custom index which is comprised of the user’s favourite chemicals. [Download - 2.2MB]

KidCalc Math Fun 1.10 ($1) - Version 1.10 of the KidCalc Math Fun flash-card learning app has been released, adding a new Valentines Day theme and number tracing. Enhancements have also been made that allows users to cancel a review simply by tapping the screen. With the Valentines Day theme kids receive hearts, diamonds, rings, pink cupcakes and chocolate icons. [Download - 9MB]

Abandoned 1.11 ($3) - Abandoned is a virtual tourism app that enables users to discover and share abandoned locations. It offers GPS mapping that automatically locates and displays nearby abandoned places and allows users to upload their own locations with photos and comments. Each location provides a one to five star rating and can be viewed in a state-by-state list format, or dynamic map. Mathroids 1.0 ($2) - A new mathematical educational app has been released for the iPhone and iPod touch called Mathroids. The app is designed to help kids learn number recognition and sequencing while playing as the pilot of a spaceship and blasting a mix of differently numbered asteroids.
