Europcar 2.0.1 (free) - Europcar has announced a free version of its self-titled iPhone/iPad app that enables users to make reservations with any of the 5,300 Europcar stations in 150 countries worldwide. In addition to hiring cars online, users can also overview all rate of hire conditions, view details on promotional offers, store favorite car rental data to be used at later dates, and receive special rates for pre-paying with a credit card. PhotoForge2 2.1.6 ($1) - PhotoForge2 is designed as a photo-manipulation tool for iOS devices, complete with over 25 adjustable filters and multiple photo-sharing options. Recently, a new 2.1.6 version of the app has been released, adding the ability to create a post cards from a photo and ship it worldwide from within the app, and offering support for exporting to Instagram. Luminos 5.0 ($3) - Wobbleworks.com has unveiled an updated version of its Astronomy app for iPhone and iPad, Luminos 5.0. With this major upgrade comes a new user interface for controlling time, multiple Calendar changes, and additional support for the iPhone 3GS, 4, and 4S. It also offers new battery-saving functionality, as well as multiple bug fixes and performance enhancements. [Download - 102MB]

Puffin Web Browser 2.0.3 ($1) - Recently, a new 2.0.3 version of Puffin Web Browser, the internet browser with FLASH support, has become available for download. The newest version now requires iOS 5, and features improved page load speed, greater overall stability, and a virtual mouse pad for simulating a mouse on a web page. The scrolling and zoom speed has also been improved in this update, and a new full-screen mode is included. [Download - 10.5MB]

War in a Box 1.0 ($3) - War in a Box is a new strategy game for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, where players must defend their city from enemy forces by using different Paper Tanks. During the game players can use everything from heavy-guns to cannons, and even artillery, in order to defeat many of the planes, blimps, and tanks that are tyring to invade. [Download - 53.5MB]
