AIM, RAGE HD, R-Tech Commander: Galaxy

AIM 5.0.3 (free) - AOL has launched a new 5.0.3 version of its popular instant messenger program, AIM – Free Edition. The new version delivers improved VoiceOver and accessibility behaviours, greater performance when launching the app from the background, and a new “Use Last Photo Taken” option. Other changes vary from several bug and crashes fixes, to a new ability to see if someone is typing a message. [Download - 19.1MB]

RAGE HD 2.0 ($2) - A new 2.0 version of RAGE HD, a first person shooter for iPhone and iPad, is now available for download on the App Store. With this release comes a new Mutant Bash Store with in-app-purchases, and higher-resolution player and weapon models. Video support for HDMI cable output is also included in the upgrade, amongst other performance enhancements and bug fixes. [Download - 1.9GB]

R-Tech Commander: Galaxy 1.0 ($4) - R-Tech Commander: Galaxy is a new space age strategy and shooter game for iOS devices. During the game players take the role of the Earth Expeditionary Force, and must protect humans from unknown alien invaders. In order to overcome the 40-plus missions players will need to create their own battle squadron from over fifty different classes of ships, as well as lead their men strategically in battle. Fire and Dice 3.0 ($2) - Sky Parlor Studios has revealed an updated version of its dice game for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, Fire and Dice 3.0. This particular upgrade adds a lot of new features and improvements, including a new menu system, a new Helicopter function, and support for OpenFeint leaderboards and achievements. Additionally, the game also offers new GameCenter integration with leaderboards and achievements. [Download - 18.2MB]

My Script Notes Mobile 1.0.0.39 ($8) - My Script Notes Mobile is a new note taking and management tool for the iPad. It allows users to create notebooks that include drawings, pictures, and handwritten annotations, as well as export notes to Evernote, Facebook, Twitter, and Dropbox. Currently, the app comes in nine different languages such as English and French, and offers handwritten recognition support for 32 languages including Arabic and Catalan. [Download - 15.9MB]
