Verto Studio 3DM, iCharcoal, Death Rally

Verto Studio 3DM 1.1 ($3) - Verto Studio 3DM is a new full-featured modeling application for the iPhone and iPad. It supports both import and export of OBJ files, and allows users to download thousands of different wire mesh models, or create their own. It also enables texture mapping, dynamic lighting, 3D modeling, and an orthographic projection mode for engineering and CAD applications. [Download - 4.6MB]

iCharcoal 1.0 ($2) - MobilEaZe has introduced iCharcoal, a new drawing application that allows users to create charcoal art without the mess. The app features a wide collection of charcoal stick sizes, a smudging ability, and customizable backgrounds. Additionally, all artwork can be shared with other users via the Facebook and Twitter integration. [Download - 17.9MB]

Death Rally 1.2 ($3) - A new 1.2 version of Death Rally, the high-action racing game for iOS devices, is now available for download. New features range from additional guns to support for left-handed controls. A new arrow-steering control scheme has also been implemented, along with an improved control tutorial and new paint jobs for the cars. [Download - 78MB]

MapPocket 1.0 ($1) - Leaping Bytes recently launched a new travel app for the iPhone/iPod touch, MapPocket 1.0. The program is designed to help users save on roaming charges while traveling, by making Google Maps available without an internet connection. It’s designed to remember all map tiles the user has viewed, and makes them available at all times once “pocketed”. [Download - 4MB]

Spectre 3D 1.2.3 ($1) - Spectre 3D 1.2.3 is an updated version of the arcade-style, space-age shooter game for the iPhone. With this release comes additional support for the iPad, as well as for the iPhone’s Retina display. An all new Arcade mode has also been included, and up to 25 achievements and five leader boards are now available via GameCenter. [Download - 9.9MB]
