ACT Printer 3.0 ($1) - ACT Printer 3.0 allows users to “print” any electronic documents from a Mac or PC application to their Phone and iPad for storing. The new version offers a reworked and streamlined user interface, as well as new sections that allow users to manage and organize printouts directly from the Inbox. [Download - 3.7MB]

Palettes 3.0 (free) - Maddysoft has announced an upgrade to its color palette tool for the iPhone and iPod touch, Palettes 3.0. New to the software is full support for Apple’s iPad, in addition to full support for iOS 4.0. Several interface improvements have been included as well, in addition to greater data transfer functionality via USB or Wi-Fi. [Download - 2.2MB]

WestlawNext 1.0.1 (free) - Thomson Reuters has unveiled a new iPad version of its legal research utility, WestlawNext. The program allows users to research issues or find KeyCite documents, as well as add notes and highlighting to documents. Firemen Panic 1.0 ($1) - Firemen Panic 1.0 is a new iPhone and iPod touch game designed for quick on-the-go playing intervals. During the game, players take the role of a pair of firemen who have to catch people that are jumping out of a burning building. Terminology Ph 1.0 ($1) - Terminology Ph is a reference app for the iPad, which has now been released for the iPhone and iPod touch. The app provides users with a variety of definitions, synonyms, and antonyms, delivered in a book-like readable interface.
