iMaschine 1.1 ($5) - iMaschine can be used to create grooves on any iOS device. The software includes 16 pads for creating different beats, as well as a keyboard for adding a melody, and support for recording audio from the device’s built-in mic. Version 1.1 now allows users to sample from iTunes, as well as to use swipe gestures to control redo and undo. A free “Quantum Collection” sound pack, iPhone 5 screen support, and various iPad optimizations are also included with this release. [Download - 202.8MB]

Fantastical 2.0.7 ($5) - Fantastical is a calendar utility that allows users to create events by explaining events in basic English. For example, a user can enter "Lunch with John at 123 Main Street on Tuesday," and the software will add all of the relevant information to a new event. The latest release offers an improved week view layout when showing many overlapping events. Several bugs have also been addressed, including a problem where posting to Facebook from a birthday wouldn’t work. [Download - 16.8MB]

TeeVee 3.0 ($3) - TeeVee is a tool for keeping track of when new episodes of TV shows will be airing. The v3.0 release is now a universal app with a brand new UI designed specifically for the iPad’s larger screen. The iPhone version has also gained a new fullscreen homepage layout that can be toggled on or off depending on the user’s preference. Other changes including Trakt.Tv syncing, improved social sharing, background refreshing, and new localizations. [Download - 9.6MB]

Movies by Flixster 6.12.1 (free) - Movies provides users with reviews, trailers, and showtimes for all of the movies currently in theaters. Users can also find information on upcoming movies and titles recently released on DVD. The v6.12.1 update now supports Airplay, giving users the option to watch favorite movies and TV shows through an Apple TV. [Download - 22.7MB]

Jelly 1.2 (free) - Jelly is a social network where users can ask questions, which can be accompanied by images, maps, and locations to add context. Version 1.2 lays down some ground work for routing questions by topics, and includes a reorganized Activity section that makes it easier to find Questions, Answers, and Thank You’s. In addition, users can now send out questions to Twitter and Facebook. [Download - 9.1MB]
