Apple Files Trademark for System Preference Logo

On August 6, 2008, the US Patent & Trademark Office published Apple’s latest trademark filing 77535337 for their current System Preferences logo. The TEAS Plus Application was filed under International Class 009 which covers “Computer software for managing user system settings and preferences.” The actual logo being trademarked is presented below juxtaposed to Apple’s provided specimen of usage. Apple notes Intellectual Property Counsel Lisa G. Widup as the Signatory of this application.
