On October 9, the European Patent & Trademark Office published Apple’s latest trademark/service mark titled ‘DashCode” under application number 005348693. The Priority status notes that the trademark was originally filed in Trinidad Tobago on June 22, 2006 under application number 37379. The trademark covers International Classifications 9 (Electrical and scientific apparatus), 38 (Communication services) and 42 (Services, scientific, research, design).
Apple previewed DashCode at their World Wide Developer Conference in August as “an easy way to create new Dashboard widgets without writing a line of code.”
