Review: Patriot Supersonic Rage XT 128GB USB 3.0 drive

Exterior, cap design good for every day, real world transfers half or less of stated speeds

USB thumb drives are getting larger by the day, their growth speeding along with the availability and expansion of memory chips. But how much storage do people need these days for their various tasks? Is 64GB enough, or would 128GB be better to tackle files storage, game saves and disk images? Patriot attempts to tackle the question with the high-speed USB Supersonic Rage XT. While the drive is offered three different sizes, the 128GB flash drive seems the most appealing. Is it worth considering, or is money better spent looking at something smaller? Find out in our review.
