Europe-only for now; US, others following soon
The iGo Primo system is already in use in millions of standalone GPS devices and automobiles worldwide, and is now being rolled out to the iPhone version. A total of 25 editions will be available, covering over 70 countries. In addition to a clean and intuitive user interface, the iGo Primo also offers "green routing" to lower fuel consumption and carbon emissions, and historical speed data for the fastest routes. Optional features now available through in-app purchase include 3D city models, live traffic service, premium points of interest and premium voices.
Also added to iGo Primo are customizable quick menus and vehicle profiles, a points-of-interest search (with a calling option), multiple destination entry, an extra-large QWERTY keyboard in landscape mode for entering addresses, control music playback, a smart history, support for "pinching" to zoom in or out of a map, day and night mode, lane assistance and realistic signposts, and the automatic resumption of navigation services after a call has ended.
The European iGo Primo app is available now for $100 and supports both iPhone and iPad in the following languages: English, Bulgarian, Catalan, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish, Ukrainian. It requires iOS 4.3 or later.
The iGo My Way app for North America is on sale for $25, a 30 percent reduction on its usual price and will include a free update to iGo Primo for North America when released. It is compatible with the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad running iOS 3.0 or later, and supports English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish.
