Nikon D5100 box spotted with official product shots

Nikon D5100 kit box shows 18-105mm lens, flash

More images of the box of the entry-level Nikon D5100 have surfaced online on Friday. This time, however, it's for a lens kit, which includes an 18-105mm, f3.5-5.6 ED VR lens like that from the D90 or D7000 kits. Also bundled with the kit is an external flash, as evidenced by images on the box.

While this isn't yet confirmed, the D5100 should include a more advanced swiveling screen than the D5000 below it and support 1080p video like the D3100.

The box otherwise reveals the camera will support SDXC memory cards, have an HDMI-compatible connection and support PictBridge for printing. The DSLR is expected to ship early this month, though exactly when or what it will cost hasn't yet been revealed. [via NikonRumors]
