Eight maps, new units and tech added
Virtual Programming has ported a Supreme Commander 2 expansion to the Mac, the Infinite War Battle Pack. It adds eight new maps, and a variety of new units and research boosts. The maps include a two-player QAI Labs map, which sits above the surface of Pollux IV, and an eight-player winner-takes-all map.
New units include Cybran Air Scouts, the stealthy Sniper Bots, and a collection of experimentals. The added research options increase production and add extra capabilities for units.
Infinite War requires Mac OS X 10.6.3 and a 2.2GHz Intel processor with 1GB of RAM. The expansion is $10, while the core Supreme Commander 2 is $40.
