Adobe CS3 is much more than an outstanding update to Photoshop, according to PC Magazine. "In fact, in the end there will be six bundles of the popular software suite to choose from," the publication writes in its coverage of the new tools. Reviews, previews, and a slideshow of the creative suite software help users discover what comes in each package and which bundle is right for particular needs.

SimCity 4 Rush Hour patch

Aspyr Media has released a free open Beta patch for SimCity 4 Rush Hour on Intel-based Macs. The update is designed to let users provide feedback as to how well it functions, and Aspyr warns that SimCity 4 Rush Hour is still not supported for play on Intel-based systems.

Free iPhone contest launches

Permissions Fixer, Linotype recognized

iCare has released Permissions Fixer, a utility designed to continuously propagate permissions and keep files up to date by giving every user who has access to the share point full permissions to edit any file.... Linotype has received recognition for two of its fonts, which received the Certificate of Typographic Excellence in Type Design.

    When the universal SC4 patch is finalized and working well, maybe I'll consider buying Aspyr games again... They've really taken their time on this one :(
