Origin PC to offer Intel Core i7 'Haswell E' processors to Millenium, Genesis desktops

Origin PC has announced that the new Intel Core i7 "Haswell-E" processors are available within its Genesis and Millennium desktops. The eight-core Intel Core i7 Extreme Edition processor is based on 22nm Haswell-E microarchitecture, and features support for the latest in DDR4 memory, as well as Intel Turbo Boost technology 2.0 and Hyper-Threading technology, both of which aim to improve performance. The processors include in PC Genesis and Millennium desktops are also Thunderbolt 2-ready. More information can be found via Origin PC regarding specs comparisons.

CyberPower PC also releases systems with Intel Core i7 processor, X99 chipset motherboards

CyberPower has updated its entire product line -- including the Fang III -- with Intel's new hardware, the Core i7 (formally codenamed Haswell-E) and X99 chipset motherboard. Introducing a variety of new technologies to the high-end market, its DDR4 memory provides twice the average clock speeds and data transfer rates compared to the previous generation. The X99 chipset can also implement SATA-Express, an interface that aims to improve SSD performance. CyberPower PC gaming systems with the newest chipset start at $1,700, and additionally include a 2TB 7200rpm HDD, Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 graphics card, and more.
