Two wearable devices may be launched at IFA this week
Sony's alleged update to its SmartWatch range may have surfaced, with the possibility of two launches rather than one. A render has surfaced showing the SmartWatch 3, though it is accompanied by what is believed to be a new fitness tracker called the SmartBand Talk, with the two potentially launching at IFA this coming week.
According to 9to5Google, the SmartBand Talk is loosely based on the previous SmartBand, launched earlier this year. The SmartBand Talk adds a curved e-ink display to the design, and though little in the way of detail has been revealed, it is claimed it will still connect to an accompanying smartphone over Bluetooth, just like other fitness trackers.
The SmartWatch 3 will apparently have a 1.68-inch 320x320 display and will have IP58 protection from water and dust, though it appears in the image to be more of a curved design than the square versions shown in earlier iterations.
