PSBCG90 Smart Bicycling Computer launched by Pyle Audio

Pyle Audio has announced the availability of its new tracking computer device for cyclists, the PSBCG90 Smart Bicycling Computer. Offering cyclists the ability to track their performance, map locations and plan new, chartered routes, the device can connect to one's computer for the purpose of saving training data records. The computer device features software that includes Google Maps, as well as GPS navigation assistance.

Multiple user profiles can be created, and its "Ghost Rider" function allows cyclists to challenge their previous bicycle session times. The system mounts on the handlebars of a bike, and includes rubber fastening rings for quick attachment. Available in a variety of colors, Pyle's Smart Bicycling Computer is priced at $130.

D-Link announces new high-power, 802.11ac unified access point

D-Link has announced its new high-power, 8012.11ac unified access point, the DWL-8610AP. The device is capable of reducing access point interference in one's wireless network, by detecting neighbouring access points and automatically selecting a non-interfering channel.

Designed to support increased device densities with advanced radio management and security features, the access point delivers up to 450Mbps using the 2.4GHz band, and 1300Mbps on the 5GHz band. Users can install via the network cable from any switch or midspan injector that supports IEEE 802.3at, due to being PoE-enabled.The DWL-8610AP can be powered using the included AC to DC adapter, or directly through the network cable using Power over Ethernet. The D-Link Unified Wireless Access Point is available for purchase through various retailers.
