Google's long-rumored music service for YouTube will apparently cost $9.99 per month, according to a leak. Dubbed YouTube Music Key, the subscription service will provide advertising-free music playback on the desktop, mobile, and through the TV, with the ability to cache songs on devices for offline playback, similar to the existing Google Play Music All Access subscription.

The details discovered by Android Police claim it will offer "over 20 million high-quality tracks" into the service, including complete albums, with a 30-day free trial available to new users. Music will also be suggested to subscribers, with a YouTube Mix also available for a non-stop stream of music, and owners of the Chromecast will also be able to beam their music streams to the streaming dongle.

The new information also has implications for the existing Google Play Music All Access subscription. It appears Google will be rebranding the service to Google Play Music Key to match the YouTube version, with the $9.99 subscription apparently giving access to both services.

Despite the similarity to the Google Play subscription, YouTube Music Key apparently offers some unique features. Concert footage, song remixes, and cover versions will apparently be available to listen to, and though some remixes exist on Google Play Music, these extras are expected to be more prevalent on the YouTube subscription, due to the relative ease of adding more content on the platform.

A launch date for the service is still unknown, though a rumor in April suggested it would launch toward the end of the year, if not into 2015.
