TweetDeck updated for OS X, adds Regional + City level Trends

TweetDeck by Twitter has received an update for OS X. The app is designed for publishers, marketers and power users of Twitter, and features a customizable layout for the social networking platform. Tweetdeck v3.8.4 offers the ability to find locally trending topics for Regions and Cities, adding a column based on the trend.

Fixes for TweetDeck include a resolution for an issue with empty columns after one's computer wakes from sleep, and retweeting a Tweet with emoji no longer scrambles Tweet contents. Multi-photo improvements have been made for large columns, and removing the time from a scheduled Tweet now removes it from it place in the Scheduled column section. TweetDeck v3.8.4 is free to download through the App Store.

Wow! Just what an iPad needs: a kickstand. Next thing these people will think of is a keyboard that CLICKS magnetically to the iPad and turns it into a laptop computer wannabe and runs crappy version of Windows.
