Apple: bugs with podcast feeds solved in iTunes 11.3.1

updated 04:43 pm EDT, Thu August 7, 2014

Subscriptions should finally update properly

Apple has released Mac and Windows versions of iTunes 11.3.1, a minor update of its media software. The latest version deals with two bugs related to podcasts, foremost being one that prevented subscriptions from being updated. The second caused episode list browsing to become unresponsive.

Work is already well underway on iTunes 12, which will ship sometime this fall, alongside iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite. The app includes a redesigned interface, and support for features like Family Sharing.
