Peter Molyneux's God game Godus now available for iOS
Godus, a god-like civilization game by Peter Molyneux, is now available for playing on iOS devices. Players can rule over a fictitious world, and have control over the physical terrain as well as influencing the growth of the people who live in the region. Miracles can be cast to either cultivate or destroy the landscape, and mysteries are uncovered throughout gameplay.
Godus is available through Steam for $20, however the iOS version that was released today is free to download on iTunes. The game requires iOS 7.0 or later to run on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
Glide 2.0 now available for iPhone
An all-new version of video-texting app Glide is available iPhone users today. Featuring a new simplified interface, v2.0 of Glide offers tabbed navigation, labelling sections as Friends, Chats, and More. Users can see when those in their Friends list were last active, and distinct names can be added to identify group chats. Video messages can now be shared beyond the Glide app via email, SMS or connected social networks.
Video messages created with Glide can be viewed by friends as they are being recorded. Messages are stored on Glide's cloud storage, and there is no uploading or downloading delay when sending and receiving videos. Free to download, Glide v2.0 requires iOS 7.0 or later to run.
