Low-budget Kogan smartphone takes on Moto G

Australian hardware manufacturer Kogan has made its latest LTE-equipped smartphone available for international purchase. The Agora 4G, effectively an upgraded version of the Agora launched last year, is attempting to take on the low-budget Moto G and Moto E with a similar-specification list featuring a few improvements, including a five-inch 720p IPS display.

Inside is a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.2GHz with an Adreno 305 GPU and 1GB of RAM. Running on Android 4.4, it includes 8GB of storage with microSD expansion, a rear 8-megapixel BSI camera with a front-facing 1.3-megapixel version, and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. Measuring 8.5mm (0.33 inches) thick and weighing 135g (4.8 ounces), the Agora 4G includes a 2,500mAh battery, which Kogan claims will last an entire day.

The Kogan Agora 4G is available now, sold for £149 ($251) in the UK, or $219 for other regions.
