WaterField updates Outback Solo and Indy satchel bags for refreshed MacBook Pro Retina laptops
WaterField has announced the release of new sizes for two of its bags, designed to fit the previous and refreshed MacBook Pro Retina laptops. The new 15-inch Outback Solo will fit the 15-inch MacBook Pro Retina, and the new 13-inch Indy leather satchelfits the smaller Retina.
The Outback Solo features a combination of waxed canvas with premium leather. Its distressed leather flap includes a firm magnetic closure, and its two front pockets can fit a smartphone, iPad mini, and necessities. The Indy is available in black or brown, with a choice of black or nickel all-metal hardware. Its main compartment is not readily visible, and sits lower than the bag opening. Its accompanied strap is adjustable for wearing cross-body or over the shoulder. The 15-inch Outback Solo is priced at $120 (with an optional strap for an additional $20), and the 13-inch Indy is available for $200, in black or brown leather. Shipping begins after August 15.
Teacup Software switches to subscription pricing, releases InDesign CC 2014 plug-ins
Teacup Software has announced the it will move to subscription pricing for its plug-ins for InDesign. The switch will start with Teacup's 2014 plug-ins compatible with Adobe's Creative Cloud. BarcodeMaker, DataLinker, TypeFitter and Patternmaker plug-ins are now all available for download for InDesign CC 2014, and feature added functions such as automated copy-fitting, intuitive barcode capability, and advanced database publishing. Aside from PatternMaker, which is free, subscription pricing starts at $50 per year.
