SilhouetteFX releases new version

SilhouetteFX has announced the release of the newest version of its visual effects software. Featuring a stereoscopic workflow, Silhouette offers a variety of tools including rotoscoping, non-destructive paint, and 2D-3D conversion tools that are stereo enabled. In v5.2, its new Crop mode crops the image and session to a user-defined size, suitable for when only a smaller region of larger image is needing to be worked on. Users can now select a Duplicate Action option, which allows for duplicated a selected object at the same level in the Object List, as opposed to the Copy/Paste function, which places the pasted object at the top of the Object List. Silhouette now supports EXR 2.0 multi-part files, meaning that when one is loaded, all of the parts are loaded into the program's Project window.

A full list of additions and improvements can be found on SilhouetteFX's website. A new single license for SilhouetteFX 5 is priced at $1,500.
