E-on Software releases free Ozone 2014 Personal Learning Edition
E-on Software has announced the release of its Ozone 2014 Personal Learning Edition, a sun and atmospheric lighting simulator. The software produces ultra-realistic environments with volumetric clouds, accurate light dispersion, and natural phenomena such as "Godrays." Users can create new atmospheres, and load any of the included presets and modify them.
Over 140 cloud shapes are available, and users can choose to animate the atmosphere, clouds and sun. Rendering can be done in FullHD (for stills) and animations up to 720p. Ozone 2014 supports Autodesk 2015 Media and Entertainment products, Cinema4D R15, LightWave 11.6, V-Ray 3 for 3ds Max and more. The Personal Learning Edition of Ozone 2014 is available for OS X 10.6 or later, and can be downloaded online.
IK Multimedia releases VocaLive 2 recording app adds editing studio
IK Multimedia has announced the release of a new version of VocaLive, mobile music-creation apps for iOS devices. VocaLive v2.0 offers a new multi-track studio interface, featuring advanced editing features such as timeline audio editing, waveform visualization, touch-and-drag looping and more. The Studio component allows clips to be easily moved and adjusted with a gesture, and its grid format provides snapping of regions to the timeline for precise positioning.
VocaLive v2.0 is a free update for all existing users, and is available as both a free or paid app, priced at $12, with the Studio feature available as an in-app purchase for $10 for iPhone and iPod touch and $15 for iPad users. The app can be used in conjunction with IK Multimedia's iRig line of microphones and mic interfaces.
