Gmail for iOS now leverages Google Drive directly for archiving and attachments
Google has updated its Gmail for iOS (free) to allow users to leverage the company's Google Drive in two new ways: users can now save attachments in emails directly to Google Drive, and users can now access Google Drive directly from within the Gmail app to add attachments to outgoing messages. The update to version 3.14159 (yes, pi) also gives users more options with account management, such as deciding which of their Gmail account is seen without removing other accounts, and changing the Gmail profile pic.
Rage's EverWeb updates to 1.5, offers mobile browser compatibility
Rage Software's EverWeb, an $80 tool marketing as a replacement (and improvement) over Apple's iWeb while retaining the same ease-of-use, has been updated to version 1.5. The new update offers an improved Image Gallery, a more optimized website preview and publishing, and important fixes for mobile browsers, according to the company.
EverWeb offers a standalone version that works with any web hosting service and costs $80, or the company offers an integrated hosting service along with the program and its updates starting at $100 per year. EverWeb sites are constructed in the same way as iWeb sites used to be, but offer modern HTML5 and CSS3 capabilities including drop-down menus, e-commerce stores, social networking features and other modern requirements built-in.
