Xbox One's upcoming update to arrive as a preview for testers, add more social features

Xbox One is due to receive a scheduled update in August. The main focus of the update pertains to the friends list, which will allow gamers to see what their friends have been playing, and a new Gamerscore leaderboard can display game rankings. Players' activity feeds will allow "liking" and commenting. Blu-ray 3D playback, a new "low battery" notification for controllers, and OneGuide support in Brazil, Mexico, Austria and Ireland are also anticipated in the new release.
