Brazilian retailer leaks possible Moto X+1 specifications

updated 12:45 pm EDT, Tue July 1, 2014

5.2-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 800 processor touted in Moto X+1

Motorola's follow-up to the Moto X may have a larger screen with a higher resolution than the original's 4.7-inch 720p version, according to specifications appearing on a Brazilian retailer's website. Thought to be called the Moto X+1, the smartphone is said to have a 1080p 5.2-inch display, along with a processor upgrade to a quad-core Snapdragon 800 clocked at 2.26GHz.

The specifications on Livraria Logos spotted by Droid-Life claim it will run Android 4.4.4, with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, expandable via microSD by up to 128GB. A 12-megapixel camera is tipped for the back with a 5-megapixel front camera supporting it, connectivity over Wi-Fi, LTE, Bluetooth, and NFC are claimed, and it will apparently have a 2,900mAh battery.

While the listing has been pulled from view, as well as lacking photographs of the touted device, the validity of the specifications list may in fact be genuine. The retailer is said to have leaked the specifications of the Moto E just two days before its official announcement, suggesting its information sources could be accurate.
