KitSound Escape travel speaker released, designed for Lightning devices

Kitsound has released its new travel speaker for Lightning-connected iOS devices, the KitSound Escape. Featuring twin drivers and dual passive radiators, the Escape is portable, holding a charge for up to twenty hours. The device measures 60mm in height (2.36 inches), 150mm (six inches) in width and 82mm (3.23 inches) in depth, and is capable for folding flat to accommodate packing.

Specifically designed for Lightning devices, the Escape is compatible with iPhone 5s, 5c and 5, iPad mini, iPad (fourth-generation), iPod touch (fifth gen) and iPod nano (seventh generation). Using its 3.5mm aux-in connection, a range of other smartphones, tablets and other devices can be used. Priced at $85, the Escape is available in black and red.



Troi URL Plug-in 4.0 for FileMaker Pro 13 now available

Troi's URL plug-in for FileMaker Pro 13 has received an update, with the release of Troi URL Plug-in 4.0. The plug-in assists users fill in forms from the Internet within FileMaker Pro, and retrieves data or images from web sites. Cookies and proxy server settings can be specified, and use of Twitter is enabled. Version 4.0 of Troi URL Plug-in features added support for 64-bit architecture, and the Twitter integration now always utilizes a secure HTTPS connection. Small corrections have been made in its Read Me file and example files. A fully function demo version is available through Troi, with license pricing beginning at $80 per user.
