ChronoSync update adds Document Organizer, 64-bit performance
Econ Technologies has released an update for ChronoSync, a back-up and synchronization tool for Mac users. Chronosync is capable of synchronizing or backing up nearly any device that can be connected to one's Mac computer, including PCs and external drives. The latest update, v4.5, includes an all-new Document Organizer, support for Apple's Notification Center, 64-bit performance, and over 100 additional new features.
The new Document Organizer allows users to create, run, edit and schedule syncs and back-ups from one window, acting as a control center. Users can choose to have sync and backup results posted directly to the desktop as Notifications, in addition to existing email alerts. Now a full 64-bit app, ChronoSync can utilize more memory and use more advanced APIs and system technologies. Priced at $40, trial versions are also available; a complete list of new features is available online.

Rage Software announced today an update to EverWeb, a website design and publishing tool for OS X. Intended to provide a simplified web creation experience, EverWeb features a drag-and-drop user interface and a one-click publishing format, reminiscent of the best features of Apple's own iWeb. The latest version of EverWeb adds enhancements to the Image Gallery, Navigation Menu, Image Slider, Facebook integration, and HTML Snipper widgets.
EverWeb v1.4 allows the ability to add image captions, multiple image gallery pages, and more customization options within its Image Gallery feature. Additionally, users can select from a larger variety of website templates than previously available. Available as a standalone version as well as the software-plus-hosting, pricing for EverWeb begins at $80.
