English rock band Bastille to play tomorrow's WWDC Bash

Apple has revealed that its annual party thrown in conjunction with WWDC, Bash, will feature a performance from English rock band Bastille. Held at the Yuerba Buena Gardens in San Francisco, Apple is additionally giving invited developers promotional codes for two free Bastille downloads on the iTunes Store. Bastille is best known for their current hit, "Pompeii."



Turtlecell iPhone case features retractable headphone feature

Turtlecell, a start-up from Ann Arbor, Michigan, has announced the pre-order availability of its protective iPhone case with a retractable headphone feature. The case includes in-ear headphones which are built into the case, and can be extended to any desired length for usage. When putting away the headphones, the user can retract them by pressing the retraction button on the side. The headphones are equipped with a microphone and full button control for hands-free calling. The Turtlecell adds 7mm of thickness to the phone's profile, and will be available in black, grey, red, and aqua color options. The pre-order price for the Turtlecell case is $40, with delivery anticipated for October.
