Banners on upper Moscone Center floors hidden from view
Apple may still have a number of secret items up its sleeve, photos of covered-up WWDC banners suggest. Located in the upper floors of the Moscone Center, the hidden banners strongly suggest that Tim Cook will be revealing more than an update to OS X and iOS 8 at the keynote being delivered later today.
AppleInsider spotted the banners on the first and second levels of the center, which can be partially seen from a nearby and technically closed parking garage. Banners have been left uncovered in some previous years for supporting technologies such as AirPlay.
One candidate for what is under the banner is the iPhone 6, an item Apple has allegedly requested aid from Chinese authorities to prevent accessory-based leaks before its unveiling. A more unlikely scenario is a banner relating to the hardware or music service from Beats, which Apple recently acquired for $3 billion.
