Photo shows alleged back panel for 4.7-inch iPhone 6

Believed to be consistent with recent leaks

An Australian website has obtained what it claims is the back panel for a 4.7-inch iPhone 6. The part appears to be consistent with other recent leaks, including details like iPad mini-style rounded edges, a circular flash cutout, and antenna breaks at the top and bottom. The green color may be a plastic film, and indeed a silver color can be seen in an exposed area around the camera.

Most iPhone 6 leaks have so far consisted of mockups, schematics, and cases, but parts such as front panels and backlight panels have begun to emerge. Apple suppliers should soon enter full-scale production of the next iPhone if they want to meet an anticipated September launch date. A rumored 5.5-inch iPhone has been mostly unseen so far, but is believed to be delayed and may not ship until November, if not later.
