PDF Expert now supported by iPhone and iPad as universal app
A major update has been released for Readdle's PDF Expert today. A PDF editing tool for adding annotations, filling PDF forms, signing documents and more, v5.1.0 now supports both iPhone and iPad devices. Previously, the iPhone version was not capable of as much as the one for iPad. Users can now create freehand drawings and figures, manage pages and merge PDFs, select annotation groups and edit them, share files via SMB, and mark one's files with colors and stars. Continuous scroll is now available, meaning that PDF documents can be scrolled through vertically. PDF Expert v5.1.0 can achieve calculations in PDF forms that are created in Adobe Acrobat or LiveCycle Designer. Priced at $10, PDF Expert 5.1 can be downloaded for free for existing users of v5.0.
Portfolio Flow now available for iOS, enables Portfolio Server uploading
Extensis has announced its new Portfolio Flow mobile app for iOS, offering remote connectivity to Portfolio Server. Designed for professional usage, Portfolio Flow is an add-on for Portfolio Server users, and allows for assets to be tagged in the field and uploaded directly. Assets can be effectively centralized on one's server, and items arrive with consistent, searchable metadata. The latest release of Portfolio Flow features audio support, a streamlined UI, upload history and more. Portfolio Flow is free to download, and requires a data connection as well as access to a licensed Portfolio Server to function.
