Apple streaming 2014 WWDC keynote, teases 'exciting announcements'

updated 02:23 pm EDT, Tue May 27, 2014

New versions of Apple's operating systems, new iMacs expected

Apple has updated its website, declaring that "exciting announcements" are in store for viewers for its Worldwide Developer's Conference stream on Monday, June 2 at 1PM Eastern Standard Time. While the topics of discussion are still veiled in secrecy, the keynote speech - expected to be helmed by CEO Tim Cook -- is thought to preview new hardware, iOS 8, OS X 10.10 and possibly a refreshed iMac.

Streaming requires Safari 4 or later on OS X 10.6 or above, Safari on iOS 4.2 or later, or QuickTime 7 on Windows. Streaming will also be available on a channel on Apple TV to users with the second- or third-generation model, running OS version 5.0.2 or later.
