Oxygen XML Editor 16.0 now available, increases XSLT development productivity
Oxygen's eponymous XML Editor has received an update, focusing on increased productivity for XSLT development. Containing a comprehensive set of tools that support all XML-related technologies, v16.0 adds "Quick Fixes" and improvements to refactoring action. Saxon-CE specific extensions are supported, and XPath queries can be applied on multiple files.
Conditional content can be worked on more easily, with different color and styles for each condition, or users can focus exclusively on a specific deliverable by hiding all excluded content. WebHelp can be aesthetically customized using the new skin builder, and DITA and DocBook tables and be modified using the new tables properties action. OneBigGame launches SXPD: The Rookie comic book game for iPad
Non-profit video game publisher, OneBigGame, has announced the launch of SXPD: The Rookie, a hybrid comic book and game for iPad. The premise of the game revolves around the adventures of the SXPD, a female-only police force that combats adversity in the fictional city of New Royale. Inspired by the retro look of eight-bit games, SXPD features a full 42-page digital comic book and six game chapters to play through, as well as multiple arcade modes. The art and story are created by comic book artist Duke Mighten. Priced at $2, SXPD: The Rookie is available through iTunes.
