Safari 7.0.4 patches WebKit security flaw [u]

updated 05:00 pm EDT, Wed May 21, 2014

Follows just one week after 7.0.3

(Updated for Safari 6.1.4) Apple has issued a minor update to Safari, v7.0.4. The patch is in fact much smaller than most, solving only a security flaw in WebKit, the rendering engine that underlies the browser. Memory corruption problems in v7.0.3 could've potentially let hackers use malicious websites to assume control of a computer.

OS X Lion, Mountain Lion, and Mavericks users can download the new version through the Mac App Store. The update follows just a week after the release of v7.0.3, which was included with OS X 10.9.3.

Update: For users of earlier versions of OS X, a matching update -- v6.1.4 -- is also available.

In addition to this, Safari v7.0.4 also came up with Face Time call fix point for those who always used to try FaceTime Audio for the phone calls and get failed in getting the sufficient time due to the strange graphic glitch hang.
