OS X 10.9.3 brings improved 4K support, USB contact/calendar sync

updated 02:00 pm EDT, Thu May 15, 2014

Includes Safari 7.0.3

Following a long beta period, Apple has released the final version of OS X 10.9.3. The update makes relatively few changes, but does improve support for 4K displays on 2013 models of the Mac Pro and 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro. It also restores the ability to sync contacts and calendars between a Mac and an iOS device using USB, instead of alternatives like iCloud.

Other inclusions are Safari 7.0.3 -- a maintenance patch -- and better reliability for VP connections using IPsec. The v10.9.3 update can be downloaded through the Mac App Store.

FINALLY, USB syncing of iOS devices is back.

Sometimes I really wonder what Apple is thinking... or plotting... removing basic features like this!

Great... USB pattern is here now.....but iCloud feature is also, as far as user needs to put CVV code at every time during transaction rather to insert sensitive information like password details again and again..

    .......Safari 7.0.3 -- a maintenance patch -- .......
Safari 7 debuts in OS X Mavericks with a great feature of sharing or reposting any status or post among friend circle by collecting URLs of connected Social Media accounts.
