United Airlines now offering updated app with personal device entertainment service

United Airlines has released a new app that now includes entertainment content for using on one's personal devices. Revised with an iOS-7 compatible design that is optimized for iPhone, the new United app features travel information such as a user's mobile boarding pass card, updates on flight departure, reservations and more.

In v2.0.13, personalized entertainment service is available on select aircraft, accessible through the app. Users can browse and watch select movies and TV shows on their personal mobile device when connected to the "United_Wi-Fi" network. To determine if a flight offers a service connection for entertainment content access, users can go to the Inflight Amenities tab on the United.com Flight State and Information page, or check the Amenities section of the Flight Status Details screen within the app. The free United App for iOS is available for download through iTunes.

Steam version of SimCity 4: Deluxe Edition now available from Gameagent

SimCity 4: Deluxe Edition is now available for purchase through more avenues than just the Mac App Store. The re-released game consists of a fictional region that players are challenged to network together through municipal development strategies. Mac gamers can now obtain the Steam version of the game from Aspyr's GameAgent.com for $20.
