Leaked photographs claim to show clear views of LG G3

New images show recessed rear buttons on LG flagship

More images of the LG G3, the company's upcoming flagship smartphone, are said to have leaked, giving clear views of the front and rear of the device. Unlike the partial views in the earlier leaks, the images this time show both sides of the G3 in their entirety, as well as the base, with the device largely appearing to keep the same design choices as its predecessor, the LG G2.

The images on the Seeko forum show the G3 as having a micro USB port for charging and a headphone socket at the base, with neither the left or right sides having any extra buttons. The rounder rear-mounted buttons appear to be slightly recessed, possibly to avoid any accidental button presses, though the purpose of the extra space on the opposite side of the back to the camera's flash is still a mystery.

LG has been distributing invitations to an event in six cities on May 27th, something believed to be the smartphone's launch. Rumors suggest the G3 will have a 5.5-inch 1440x2560 display, driven by a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, either 2GB or 3GB of RAM, 16GB or 32GB of storage, and a rear 13-megapixel camera with OIS+.
