Beats Music iOS app updates to 2.0, gets native iPad interface

Beats Music has launched a new version of its iOS client, 2.0. While not bringing many fundamental changes, the update is the first to include a native iPad interface, better taking advantage of the tablet's screen space. The interface readjusts based on whether an iPad is in portrait or landscape mode.

For all users, the app has gained the ability to find and follow Twitter friends. Beats Music is a free download for iOS 6 or later, but costs $10 per month for one person, or $15 per month in a five-user deal. AT&T subscribers can try the group plan free for 90 days.
