File management plug-in for FileMaker Pro 13 adds 64-bit support
Troi Automatisering has released Troi File Plug-in 220.127.116.11 beta for FileMaker Pro 13, adding support for 64-bit architecture on FileMaker Server 13 and WebDirect. A tool for accessing information outside the FileMaker Pro database, file and folders stored on the computer can be accessed through the function of the plug-in. Users can create, manipulate and a variety of file types and folders, as well as manage images and movies, read IPTC and EXIF metadata from JPEG, RAW and PNG images, and more.
In v18.104.22.168 beta, Troi File Plug-in features new metadata implementation when running in 64-bit mode. Its TrFile_MetaData function now returns the data rate of movies in bits per second, and the value of frame per second is now based on the video track. This beta release expires May 30, with a new full release anticipated beforehand. Full release notes are available through Troi's website.
World Clock Deluxe 4.12 released, adds automatic updating, visual revisions
MaBaSoft has released its latest version of World Clock Deluxe, a time tool for those regularly communicating internationally, across time zones. World Clock Deluxe displays multiple clocks in a horizontal or vertical palette in a menu bar and in the Dock, and can show the time for over 1600 cities and 200 time zones. Version 4.12 features automatic downloading and installation of updates, and the app includes up-to-date cities, time zones and DST rules for 2014.
Buttons in the Time Converter function and Meeting Planner panes have been revamped and when used on OS X 10.8 or later, users can share conversions and meeting details through Mail and Messages integration. The font size of the palette pane can be specified between eight and 99 point increments, a Mavericks incompatibility has been rectified, and Sevastpool, Crimea has been added to its database. A free update for registered v4 users, World Clock Deluxe is available for download for $20.
