Microsoft rolls out classroom-targeted search engine with controls and zero ads
Microsoft has launched an ad-free search engine for school classroom use, dubbed as "Bing in the Classroom." A specialized search tool, the classroom-designed Bing has no advertisements, and offers strong privacy controls and parental settings to filter out adult content. Bing's ad-free search is available to all eligible K-12 schools for free.
Codecademy releases redesigned platform
Free programming language learning platform Codecademy has received a revamped aesthetic, debuting new features alongside the new look. Focusing on content, the redesign features a simplistic layout that removes form fields and unnecessary controls. Its new dashboard more clearly displays projects and courses that are partly completed. Codecademy's new Codebits feature allows users to share completed projects with the platform's community.
