Briefly 1.5 for Mac adds color sorting, support for several soundtracks and more

Eternal Storm Software's photo and video utility app for Mac, Briefly, has received an update. The software allows users to create panning motion videos from photos and sound files. The app renders its video in up to 1080p resolution, and can calculate video size based upon the small photo added, reducing the need for black borders. In v1.5, Briefly can sort photos by color to create a gradient effect in the video, and multiple soundtracks are now supported to loop. Other new features include the Motion JPEG video codec now being used instead of H.264, the option to disable black borders, and miscellaneous improvements and bug fixes, like support for App Naps and Automatic Termination. Briefly is available for purchase on the App Store for $15, with a free 15-day trial accessible from the Eternal Storms website.
