Early termination fee payment, phone trade-in bonuses in Sprint promotion
Following the lead of similar promotions by T-Mobile and AT&T, Sprint is looking to poach customers to its network, by paying up to $650 per line. The carrier will provide customers switching their number to Sprint from another network and signs up for its Framily plan with two bonuses, in order to help pay for the cost of transferring to the service.
Just as with T-Mobile's offer, Sprint will pay up to $350 towards the early termination fee of the other carrier, or any remaining "Equipment Installment balance" if not on contract. Subscribers are required to be in good standing at the time of the reward's payment, 10 to 12 weeks after initially signing up to receive the payment as a Visa prepaid card, as well as providing proof of fees in the final bill.
New Sprint customers can also receive up to $300 on the service for trading in their existing working device, though this will be applied as credit on the account rather than as a Visa card.
Sprint is offering the Framily Plan bounty to customers switching in-store and online starting from today, until May 8th.
